?? Do I need to dress up to fit in at FSBC?
We have a "come as you are" atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual. We have no expectations for attire.
?? How do I know which Sunday School Class to attend?
Connecting, or getting to know FSBC members and building rewarding friendships is a vital part of our church's desire. You'll have a better chance of connecting in a Small Group class. You can call the church office (928.684.2756) or email us office@fsbcw.com to learn more about FSBC options for Small Group leaders and classroom locations ahead of time, or when you come you'll find greeters to help you find your way when you arrive.
?? What is your pastor like?
Pastor Dean Stanley is dynamic, energetic, and possesses a great sense of humor. It is not unusual for the congregation to laugh out loud during some of comments during a sermon. He's also a very Godly man who takes his leadership and the Church very seriously. Our associate pastor and other leaders are very welcoming, attentive, and speak with truth in love.
??How do I get involved in service at FSBC?
When you have attended and feel ready to get involved, just let one of our pastors or church lay leaders know. They can direct you to the appropriate ministry of your choice.
??How do I learn more about FSBC?
You'll probably want to join one of our Bible study classes, or visit one of our small groups.
??What does FSBC want from me?
We want you grow in your faith, to attach yourself to unbelievers in an effort to lead them to Christ, and to influence other Christians to become fully committed to Christ.
??What will FSBC do for me?
We provide a training center for Christians by equipping them to penetrate their relationship with the gospel and to shepherd believers through small group life. We will prepare you for Christian discipleship, so that you can discover your calling and serve the Lord by serving others.
??What if I have habits in my life that I haven't changed yet?
We all have issues in our life. As the body of Christ, we are all just forgiven sinners. We come here to worship God, and to experience an encounter with the Holy Spirit. If there are changes in our lives that need to be made, that is up to God and he's the one that changes our habits. Here, you will find a place to have relationships with people who are all experiencing different degrees of growth as Christians. You'll be welcome.
